Lincoln Academy Special Services
The Special Services Department consists of special education and Section 504 services. Lincoln Academy offers a wide range of opportunities for students with disabilities.
For many students with disabilities, the key to success in the classroom lies in having appropriate adaptations, accommodations, and modifications made to the instruction and other classroom activities. Lincoln Academy’s Special Education department offers various programming options, including supported academic classes, a life skills program, and IDEAL, a special education program for the non-traditional learner.
Students identified through Section 504 may receive accommodations for their disability that enable them to access their education in regular classes.
Students identified through special education may receive individualized specialized instruction and related services to meet the unique needs of the child.
