David Fields is a zooplankton ecologist with Bigelow Labs. He is a graduate of the University of Utah (BS) and the State University of New York at Stony Brook (MS, PhD). In addition to his research and lab work at Bigelow, early in his career he taught courses at the high school level and also taught later at the Georgia Institute for Technology, where he was a post-doctoral Fellow. David has pages of publications to his credit as well as an impressive list of graduate students he’s supervised and courses he’s taught to students from high school through graduate school. He and his wife Adele Gale are parents of LA grads Tanner '13 and Tess '15.
