On Friday, May 1, Lincoln Academy’s Unified Club presented Head of School Jeff Burroughs with an Inclusivity Pledge signed by over 100 members of the LA community.
LA’s Unified Club is made up of individuals with and without intellectual disabilities who plan activities and events that promote inclusion, understanding, and building friendships.
The club asked students to sign the banner in support of promoting an inclusive school environment and also to support LA’s Intellectual Disability Week. This week is sponsored by the Special Olympics, who provide the banner and stickers.
