Six Lincoln Academy students were selected as Students of the Semester at the Bath Regional Career and Technical Center (BRCTC) for the Spring 2026 semester. Juniors Lily Dumais and Rey Carr, and seniors Antonio Giacomuzzi, Brock Smith, Caitlin Lomas, and Hunter Baldwin were recognized with this honor.

When nominating these students, their BRCTC instructors described them this way:

Antonio Giacomuzzi is a first-year senior in Graphic Design who consistently brings a positive attitude to class and arrives each day ready to learn. He demonstrates excellent attendance and a strong commitment to his education. He is an outstanding role model for his peers, communicating respectfully and thoughtfully with both classmates and teachers. His kindness toward others helps create a welcoming classroom environment. Antonio has shown exceptional talent in illustration. His strong work ethic and creative ability have made him a standout student in the Graphic Design program. He has a bright future ahead. He will shine in whatever direction he chooses.

Brock Smith has had an incredible journey in Culinary Arts. Starting in Culinary quiet and unsure, he has truly grown into a rockstar. He has developed a deep skill set and approaches every project with determination and focus. Brock has a unique ability to see beyond the ordinary, bringing creativity and insight to his work. With his great personality and positive presence, he is genuinely liked and appreciated by everyone.

Caitlin Lomas (Criminal Justice) is the student every teacher wants to have in class. Her work is always complete and on time. She goes above and beyond and chooses to connect her work with the real world. No matter what else is happening in the classroom, I know that Caitlin remains grounded in professionalism and quiet enthusiasm. She has future aspirations and a plan to achieve them.

Hunter Baldwin (Welding) has continued to be an excellent student and is the only person in Mr. Carter’s eight years at Bath Tech that he has nominated back to back for student of the semester. He is consistently working towards his goal of becoming a welder at Bath Iron Works. His attention to practicing the craft of welding is definitely going to make him financially secure after high school. His work ethic and attitude are noteworthy and we have no doubt that any future employer will be very pleased with the decision to bring him on to their team.

Lily Dumais (JMG) started JMG as a very quiet student… and that didn’t last long. She joined the class not quite knowing what to expect, but quickly became one of the key forces bringing the class together. With her great sense of humor and willingness to share her opinions, she adds energy to every discussion. Lily works hard to stay on top of her assignments and often uses her free time to help classmates with theirs. Her caring nature and friendliness have helped create a warm, supportive, and fun environment in our JMG AM elective class.

Rey Carr (Automotive) is an outstanding student in the automotive program. He is always in a great mood and ready to learn. His enthusiasm is contagious, and it spreads among his peers. If he doesn’t know something, he asks. Overall, Rey is a great student and a wonderful individual. We are looking forward to having him in Bath Tech again next year.

Congratulations to the BRCTC Students of the Semester!
