Students in Ms. Hanley’s classes performed skits about fortune tellers to practice the future and subjunctive tenses.
Mrs. Hanley’s Honors Spanish 4 students prepared and presented skits about predicting the future. The performances focused on the use of compound past tenses, the subjunctive, and the future tense in dialogues between a fortune teller and a person looking for career advice. Students were encouraged to use props and get creative, showcasing their ability to improvise and role-play in Spanish. They did an excellent job making these skits both entertaining and educational.
Memorizing and performing skits in front of classmates helps students practice using new grammar structures and vocabulary while also recycling previous knowledge in a practical way.
