Emerson Blagdon, Cullen Cox, Sarah Prior, and Ruthan Waltz are the fall 2026 Lincolon Academy students selected as the fall, 2025 Bath Regional Career and Technical Center Students of the Semester
Four Lincoln Academy students were selected as Students of the Semester at the Bath Regional Career and Technical Center (BRCTC) for the fall 2025 semester. Seniors Cullen Cox, Emerson Blagdon, Sarah Prior, and Ruthan Waltz were recognized with this honor.
Their instructors described them this way:
Senior Cullen Cox (welding) has been a standout performer in the welding shop since beginning with the summer bridge program. Currently taking the lead on the construction of a utility trailer, Cullen is recognized for his ability to tackle any challenge in the welding booth. His instructors highlight his remarkable discipline, focus, and self-motivation, noting that he consistently operates with a professional autonomy that sets a high bar for his peers.
Senior Emerson Blagdon (Cosmetology) is celebrated for bringing a unique blend of talent, humor, and a “perfectionist” work ethic to the Cosmetology program. With a sharp attention to detail, Emerson constantly pushes herself to elevate her craft from good to great. Beyond her technical skills, her positive energy and humor have made her a vital contributor to the classroom environment and a joy for both staff and students to work with.
Senior Sarah Prior (Graphic Design) is recognized as a leader and role model within the Graphic Design program. A member of the National Technical Honor Society, Sarah recently expanded her expertise through a Bath Tech JMG internship at 1812 Farm, gaining hands-on experience in event planning. In addition to her design studies, Sarah has been an active cheerleader in her hometown for five years, demonstrating a consistent balance of academic and extracurricular excellence.
Junior Ruthann Waltz (Culinary Arts) has become a key player in the student-run breakfast café, demonstrating professionalism and responsibility well beyond her years. After entering the program with strong baking skills, Ruthann has continued to improve through daily dedication. She was one of the first students to earn her 10-hour OSHA certification and passed her ServSafe exam with flying colors. Her “can-do” attitude and strict adherence to food safety standards make her an invaluable asset to the kitchen.
Congratulations to the BRCTC Students of the Semester!
