On Monday, February 9 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm (snow date Feb. 12), Lincoln Academy will host an Eighth Grade Information Night to assist families of incoming LA students with the registration and course selection process. Director of Curriculum and Counseling, Kelley Duffy, and LA School Counselors will present in-depth information about course scheduling and four-year planning. All interested families are welcome to attend, even if they have not yet enrolled.
After the presentation, LA faculty and staff will be stationed in classrooms throughout campus to explain various aspects of the registration process, including graduation requirements, special education services, honors classes, athletics and extracurriculars, and other aspects of life at LA. Families are encouraged to visit the different rooms to learn more about the various programs and services offered. For families new to Lincoln Academy, there will also be a few campus tours at 7:00 and 7:20.
No registration is necessary for Lincoln Academy’s Eighth Grade Registration Info Night. Interested families should plan to park in the lot across from the LA gym and arrive at the Dining Commons a few minutes before 6:30 pm to sign in.
