Boosters, Homecoming and Fall Fun

We are enjoying the beautiful weather, slightly cooler temperatures and the beginning of the change in the color of the leaves.  We look forward to celebrating the start of the fall season with pumpkin carving, cozy fires, and hikes.

Forty dorm students participated in Community Cares two weekends ago, there was a wonderful write up about the experience in the local paper. Earlier in September this short write up was posted featuring dorm students!

This last weekend was marked by our trip to Monkey C Monkey Do! Some of the fun pictures are included below.

We have Homecoming celebrations this week! This includes athletic and class competitions, races, a parade with our teams and musicians, a dance, and dress up days (today is Roaring 20’s!).  This year’s Homecoming theme is Roaring 20’s and students, staff and alumni will be coming together to show their Eagle Pride at events all week.  Full schedule here: Homecoming 2025

Finally, as we look to the future for students intending to make a US college or university their next stop, SAT tests are coming this October 4, 2025. The next upcoming SAT test at a local school is November 8, 2025. The deadline for registration is October 24, 2025.

In closing, you will be receiving an email inviting you to use Orah. This is software that allows us to manage, track and communicate with our students.  Once enrolled, please begin submitting your student’s travel information for December via Orah. The due date for December travel is October 15. The dorm is open for Thanksgiving Break, but if your student is also leaving for Thanksgiving Break (11/22-11/30), the due date for those plans is October 15.  Here is the link to our travel document that will help clarify travel policies, here is the link to the Travel FAQ with suggestions for transportation services around Boston Logan airport.  Please read through this carefully, as it contains important information! If you are planning ahead, please be aware that Lincoln Academy is offering a trip to Costa Rica this year! Your student could choose this as their April Break option!
