Arrivederci, ลาก่อน, Adiós, Sbohem!
What a week it’s been! First of all, it was wonderful to see and meet so many families during the graduation celebrations. Thank you for making the long journey to Newcastle to celebrate the achievements of your children. We were overwhelmed with pride and gratitude for your presence and steadfast support. Please find pictures of all the events on the Lincoln Academy Flickr page, where so many special moments have been captured.
The Lincoln Academy girls tennis team has had monumental success this season. Yesterday afternoon, in both Singles and Doubles matches, the LA Girls won the Maine State Class B Championship! Pia, Isi, Rozalie, Lucy and Liz are members of the team and contributed to the team’s success. We are so proud of our athletes, congratulations!
Fall 2025 Travel Plans
If you have not already done so, please submit your August travel arrangements in Orah. We need this information as soon as possible to coordinate transportation to Lincoln Academy from Boston or Portland.
Summer Communication
Please use the email address ResLife@lincolnacademy.org for summer communications. This will allow Ms Tan, Mr Vesery and Ms Jonason to receive and respond to emails in a timely manner.
Shipping & Storage
Closing the dorm and moving students out is a complex process. Students are expected to be out of the dorm by 3pm on Friday, June 13. Dorm staff will supervise the packing and cleaning of rooms, sorting items no longer wanted, supporting shipping of items that won’t fit in suitcases, and ensuring that records, medications, and other belongings are returned. Please work with your students to ensure that they understand the need to be organized and efficient as we work to complete these important tasks.
Any returning student may leave items in the dorm storage area. All items must be boxed and well-labeled. For anyone not returning, all personal belongings must be packed, donated, or shipped prior to leaving campus.
Please continue to be in touch with any changing travel plans. Have a wonderful summer and we look forward to welcoming many of you back in August!
Be well and take care,

Monica Tan
Director of Residential Life
