Lincoln Academy junior Alva Gandler has met the requirements to enter the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program based on his score on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT-NMSQT). From more than 1.3 million students who took the qualifying exam, Alva is among the 50,000 highest-scoring participants who will be recognized as either Semifinalists or Commended Students in the fall.
