Six Lincoln Academy students have been recognized as the Bath Regional Career and Technical Center Students of the Semester for the spring of 2025. They are Tyler Blanc ‘25 in Automotive, Scott Wisecarver ‘26 in Carpentry, Ryan Curtis ‘26 in Electrical, Jayden Orne ‘26 in Automotive, Hunter Baldwin ‘26 in Welding, and Ciara Stokes ‘25 in Health Science Medical Science.

Tyler’s teachers said, “Tyler Blanc has stepped up in his second year, tackling difficult projects while staying focused. He always has a great attitude and a willingness to get his hands dirty. Tyler has become one of Automotives’ afternoon ‘class greats.’ He has the ability to work independently and can complete most tasks without any assistance.”

Scott’s teachers said, “We would like to congratulate Scott Wisecarver on being nominated for Student of the Semester for the spring of 2025. Scott’s work ethic has been strong from the beginning of the school year. He is always willing to take on the needed tasks and steps up to offer help. He works very well with his classmates, and they all respect and like him. We are looking forward to working with him for another year as he continues to fine-tune his carpentry skills.”

Ryan’s teachers said, “Ryan Curtis has stepped up to ALL the challenges assigned to him, with great success. A leader in the classroom study of the Electrical code, Ryan’s effort and desire to succeed encourage the rest of the class to step up their game. Demonstrating his career-ready proficiencies, Ryan is a leader on the job site. He doesn’t have to do everything himself to be effective. He sometimes leads by helping others, and that is a unique quality.”

Jayden’s teachers said, “Jayden Orne is Automotive’s spring student of the semester. Jayden arrives at class with a great attitude and a willingness to learn. He always does what’s asked of him and more. Jayden has great mechanical ability, and can adapt to and overcome difficult projects. Without a doubt, Jayden will succeed at whatever he decides to do.”

Hunter’s teachers said “Hunter’s skills have been improving at an impressive rate this semester. He is one of those students who just ‘gets’ welding. His work is nothing short of impressive given his time under the hood and his attitude is equally impressive. It’s obvious that he wants to work in the trade professionally someday and I have no doubt that he’ll be successful. Mr. Carter can count on him to produce quality work, remain calm and take on any task that’s thrown his way. We can’t wait to see what he can accomplish next year.”

Ciara’s teachers said, “Ciara may be quiet, but her presence speaks volumes. She consistently demonstrates focus, responsibility, and a genuine curiosity that sets her apart. She is always attentive and thoughtful. Her love for science shines through in the questions she asks and the enthusiasm she brings to exploring new topics. Congratulations!”
