Eager for Spring
Athletic tryouts and practices will begin next week, and we couldn’t be more ready! Our boarding students have been anxious to get back to their athletic routines, and the weather is finally cooperating. After a snowstorm on Monday that resulted in an early release from school, the air has regained some warmth. The snow and ice have finally melted off of the turf and tennis courts, allowing student athletes to practice outside. While the mornings are still cool, we are enjoying a slight warming of afternoon temperatures.
As April arrives, it brings with it a flurry of activity for our students. For many, it marks a critical juncture as they prepare for SAT and AP exams. This period can elicit stress and anxiety as students strive to perform their best. However, amidst the pressure, we’re here to offer support and guidance to help them navigate through these challenges. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment that promotes well-being and academic success.
In the midst of this bustling period, we urge parents to check in with their students frequently. Your support and encouragement play a pivotal role in helping them navigate through this transitional phase. Please let us know if we can help in any way, or if you feel that your child is experiencing unmanaged stress.
