April Storms & Sports Photos

I would like to write a newsletter that does not begin with weather news, but alas, here we go.  School was canceled both yesterday and today, due to another storm that has gifted us with snow, wind, rain and power outages in the area.  It’s safe to say that we’ve all grown weary of these storms and are desperate for clear skies and warmer temperatures.  On the upside, snow days often lead to impromptu moments of joy and community building.  Sledding, snowball fights and rowdy games of dodgeball were part of yesterday’s fun!

The good news is that the past week has been beautiful and busy with athletics. I’ve included team photos that celebrate our student athletes.   Next week is the final week before April Vacation- we are looking forward to a week off to recharge and relax.  While some students are taking the opportunity to fly home and be with family, others are traveling to regions of the United States.  One group will be joining the Jonason family in New Jersey and Philadelphia.  The trip will include 3 college/university tours, and an NBA basketball game.  We may even take a day trip into NYC- stay tuned!

Next week, we will say goodbye to Isabel as she returns to Germany.  We extend our heartfelt wishes for her continued success and happiness!
