We’re all excited to head into Winter Carnival Week! This special week-long event is a chance to bring students together in friendly competition by grade level.  Students show off their school spirit and compete for faculty shield points by taking part in dress-up days, snow sculptures, trivia, and more.

In addition to Winter Carnival week, this is the last week before winter vacation.  When students return to classes on February 28 there will be two just weeks until the end of the second trimester.  Academic focus will be pushed hard upon return to get everyone to the best place possible as we close out the two-thrids mark of the year.

As always, please be in touch with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Jake Abbott
Dean of Students and Director of Residential Life

Lincoln Academy Drama is hard at work on an original play to appear in late March of 2022. Around 35 students are currently working in teams to write, design, choreograph and make music for the play.

With a working title of “The Selchie Play”, the piece will be workshopped and devised throughout the month of February. Students are deeply involved in the early process of creative work and very excited to begin staging the play in a few days. Stay tuned for more updates!
